Back to school season kicks off with East Bay EDA's 4th annual early STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) event at Children's Fairyland in Oakland. In partnership with Children's Fairyland, the event is designed to introduce STEM to pre-kindergarten aged children and their caregivers the importance of early STEM education and to think about career opportunities requiring a strong STEM foundation. Throughout the day, children will engage in hands-on experiments, interactive games and demonstrations, and will be rewarded with fun giveaways.
