 The ballroom recently underwent a $3 million renovation and can hold up to 300 guests.

The program was opened with remarks from East Bay EDA's Chair, Alameda County Supervisor, Keith Carson.
Micky_Randhawa 
 Micky Randhawa, a East Bay Regional President for Wells Fargo, presented a message from Wells Fargo regarding the event topic.

Nicole_Taylor

Nicole Taylor, East Bay EDA 2nd Vice Chair, and President & CEO of the East Bay Community Foundation, gave the presentation on the economic indicators included in the East Bay 2009 Indicators Report, that were contained in an Executive Summary that was handed out and can be viewed/downloaded by clicking here.

Tse Ming Tam, Vice President of Community Investment for the United Way of the Bay Area -  which contributed the the social indicators and related analysis for the East Bay Indicators Report) reviewed the social indicator's finding.

Gary Wolff, Executive Director of the StopWaste.org, presented information on the organization co-sponsoring the event.
