As a cross-sector, member-driven organization, the East Bay Economic Development Alliance (East Bay EDA) promotes, advocates, and influences legislation and policy efforts that contribute to a strong economy that attracts business, job opportunities, and investment to the East Bay region.     Exclusive to members of East Bay EDA's Executive Committee. East Bay EDA is governed by two committees. Our Board of Directors guides and informs organizational activities and events for the East Bay Economic Alliance Foundation (East Bay EDA’s nonprofit arm) and is composed of senior-level leaders from East Bay EDA’s robust cross-sector membership, including business, economic development, education, elected officials, labor, local government representatives, nonprofit organizations, philanthropy, and research institutions. Our Executive Committee consists of the Chair, Vice Chair, and other leadership positions and roles on the Board of Directors.

  • EDD Council Meeting – September

    Exclusive to members of East Bay EDA's Economic Development Directors' (EDD) Council. Location TBD. The EDD Council leads strategies that link, align, and leverage best practices for regional marketing, policy reforms, economic analysis, and professional development resources to improve the region’s business climate and expand economic opportunities throughout the East Bay. The EDD Council membership includes East Bay EDA member cities, counties, and unincorporated areas, as well as lead staff from our local Workforce Development Boards and Small Business Development Centers.

Meetings focus on policies, projects, and investments that support economic growth, efficient mobility and goods movement, and a high quality of life for residents and workers.
