    Exclusive to members of East Bay EDA's Economic Development Directors' (EDD) Council. Location TBD. The EDD Council leads strategies that link, align, and leverage best practices for regional marketing, policy reforms, economic analysis, and professional development resources to improve the region’s business climate and expand economic opportunities throughout the East Bay. The EDD Council membership includes East Bay EDA member cities, counties, and unincorporated areas, as well as lead staff from our local Workforce Development Boards and Small Business Development Centers.

    ​In partnership with Visit Berkeley and the City of Berkeley’s Office of Economic Development, East Bay EDA members are invited to a familiarization tour of Berkeley to view the city's amazing facilities for businesses. Our Board of Directors guides and informs organizational activities and events for the East Bay Economic Alliance Foundation (East Bay EDA’s nonprofit arm) and is composed of senior-level leaders from East Bay EDA’s robust cross-sector membership, including business, economic development, education, elected officials, labor, local government representatives, nonprofit organizations, philanthropy, and research institutions.
