Oakland Roots Business Mixer

Join East Bay EDA for a VIP pitch-side mixer at the Oakland Roots’ June 17th match — a gathering of Australian and Bay Area business leaders and City Officials, united by the belief that relationships born through the power of sport carry a strength and permanence that extend far beyond the final whistle. This summer, the Oakland Roots are proud to host the Australian National Team – called the Socceroos – at their training facility as they prepare to compete on the world stage. The Oakland Roots are hosting this Australia-themed gameday event on June 17th in their honor. The program will open at 11:00 AM with coffee and pastries on the sideline and will feature brief remarks from: a senior leader from the Australian Consulate, the President of the Australian Chamber of Commerce, a senior leader from the Socceroos, a senior leader from the Oakland Roots, and other VIP guests. Following the welcome program, guests are invited to mix and mingle on the sidelines — before kickoff and throughout the match.
