East Bay EDA is partnering with San Francisco Business Times on its Corridors of Opportunity series this year. After a successful event in Hayward in April, we are planning new events. Join East Bay EDA for a guided tour and get a behind-the-scenes look at the state-of-the-art TCHO Chocolate factory in Berkeley, California. Explore how TCHO's award-winning chocolate is made from raw ingredients to finished products. Learn about TCHO's chocolate-making process, responsible sourcing methods (TCHO Source), their unique production facility, and walk through the bean-to-bar flavor laboratory. Please note that this tour has limited space, and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Please register by Friday, July 3, to reserve your spot. The Startup World Cup - East Bay Regional competition returns to Cal State East Bay on September 10, 2026. Last year, Coreshell Technologies in San Leandro was named Grand Finale Winner of the 2025 Startup World Cup, bringing excitement to this annual competition. Startup World Cup is hosted by Pegasus Tech Ventures. It is a global conference and competition that brings together the top startups, VCs, entrepreneurs, and world-class tech CEOs. Each regional winner will compete in the Grand Finale for a $1 Million Investment Prize on October 17, 2025, at the Hilton Union Square, San Francisco.
